Jenny Stone

Jenny lives and works in the Greenigoe area of Orphir in the West Mainland of Orkney. Although she loves to paint the land, seas and skies representationally, at the moment Jenny likes to interpret them in a surrealistic manner. She enjoys looking at each piece of scenery in her mind’s eye before she goes to sleep, and sees what images emerge in her dreams before painting them; which is why she calls them ‘Orkney Dreamscapes’.
