
Megumi Barrington-Uenoyama
Megumi is a Japanese artist based in Orkney Islands. Her inspiration reflects both her Japanese heritage and her interest in the landscape, natural history, heritage, people, and culture of Orkney. She was born in Osaka, Japan and studied Visual Communication Design at Kyoto Seika University, also Painting at Chelsea College of Art and Design at University Arts London. She is a director of Soulisquoy Printmakers, a council member of Orkney Japan Association and a member of MÓTI Collective.
