Móti Collective is a group of art graduates who have either studied in, returned to, or chosen to base themselves in Orkney. Their next joint exhibition will be showing at The Ship of Fools Gallery in Kirkwall in April and is called Our Islands.

The title was inspired by the upcoming Island Games and has encouraged the members of Móti to consider the idea of islands from different perspectives. Ranging from outer space to soil, from bodies of land to our human bodies and identities, from the picturesque to the provocative, this exhibition presents a range of interpretations and experiences.

This variety is reflected in the materials and techniques used by the artists, including textiles, fibre-art, photography, drawing, print-making and pottery. Art lovers and sceptics alike are sure to find something intriguing.
